Winter Character
The West Indy Winterfest Planning Committee is seeking volunteers to dress up as Winter Characters for families and children to interact and take pictures with. Throughout the event, you will walk throughout the space and interact with families to take pictures with them (similar to Disney characters at theme parks!) Some examples of Winter Characters may include: Frosty the Snowman, Elsa from Frozen, Jack Frost, and more! We would love to highlight different cultures and traditions through these Winter Characters and welcome all suggestions and ideas!
Winter Character Volunteers MUST agree to a background check performed by the Marion County Commission on Youth, Inc. This will include an ID check, local law enforcement check, National Sex Offender Registry Check, and Child Protective Services check. Fingerprinting will not be required. More materials will be sent to you after submitting this form to complete this process.
Volunteers must arrive for an orientation meeting at 4:30 pm on December 1 before the event begins at 5:30 pm. Festivities will conclude by 8:00 pm.
