Students who participate in after school programs perform better in school. They are less likely to drop out of high school, use drugs or engage in criminal behavior. They tend to be physically healthier, and are more likely to attend college.
At Mary Rigg Neighborhood Center we believe in the potential of every child. Our after school program extend learning opportunities for each student. Programming includes homework assistance, tutoring, recreation time, daily planned activities and special events.
Highlights of our program include:
- Extended care hours, Monday-Friday — after school care is available until 5:30 pm
- Full day programming for most out-of-school breaks and holidays
- Sliding scale fees to keep costs manageable for working families
- CCDF Accepted
