After-School Program

After School program extends learning opportunities for youth ages 5-14. Daily planned activities include homework assistance, tutoring, academic support, recreation time, and specialized and individualized social emotional supports. After school snack provided Monday to Friday. Programming available during school breaks. Sliding scale fee available and CCDF accepted.

Students who participate in after school programs perform better in school. They are less likely to drop out of high school, use drugs or engage in criminal behavior. They tend to be physically healthier, and are more likely to attend college.

At Mary Rigg Neighborhood Center we believe in the potential of every child. Our after school program extend learning opportunities for each student. Programming includes homework assistance, tutoring, recreation time, daily planned activities and special events.

  • Extended care hours, Monday-Friday — after school care is available until 5:30 pm
