Pantry Expansion

We’re grateful to everyone who joined us for the bread‑breaking ceremony celebrating the opening of the new Mary Rigg Food Pantry. This long‑standing tradition of sharing bread was the perfect way to honor the unity and partnership that made this milestone possible.

We’re also thankful for the community leaders and pantry patrons who shared their reflections and helped highlight the impact this new space will have on local families in West Indianapolis.

The new pantry will operate three days per week starting March 2. Want to get involved? 

We’re grateful for the support that’s helping us serve more families with fresh, nutritious choices. Since expanding to three days of service each week, the number of families visiting the pantry has grown—and with it, the cost of restocking shelves, maintaining refrigeration, and supporting weekly operations.

To ensure we can meet this increased demand, we’re working toward a $48,918 goal for the pantry’s annual operations. Every gift helps fill a plate—and brings the power of a full plate to life for neighbors across our community.
