Free Haircut Program

Mary Rigg is happy to welcome Belisimoda Academy, who will provide free, quality haircuts to our neighbors. Belisimoda Academy is a state and federally approved Registered Apprenticeship Program in cosmetology and barbering. Their mission is to create accessible career pathways for individuals who face barriers to employment while providing free beauty and wellness services to the community.

Experienced apprentice stylists—working under licensed supervision—offer these services as part of their professional training and community service. All haircuts are provided at no cost, in a safe, respectful, and professional setting. Through this partnership, we can offer 8 free haircuts each Tuesday.

*Please note, services will not include the use of chemicals. Hair may be only washed, cut, and dried. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a guardian. Reservations encouraged, walk-ins welcome.
