Dear Mary Rigg Neighborhood Center,
I want to give a special thank you for allowing me the opportunity to be one of your success stories. When I started the QMA class with MRNC in 2019 I had no idea a program such as this even existed. At the time, I was a single mother of three. Needless to mention, it was a struggle raising three children, working a fulltime job, and attending classes but MRNC gave me all the tools needed to be successful.
In 2019, I became an Ivy tech student. In 2020, I ran across some financial hardship in attempting to finish my prerequisites for their PN program. Not only did MRNC help me accomplish the receipt of my QMA technical certificate, I discovered they offered a bridge program. Thankfully I was a candidate. Needless to say, MRNC has been nothing short of a blessing to me and my family. As I write this letter, I can’t help but to become emotional.
As I scrambled to figure out how I would financially be able to cover tuition and fees to attend Ivy Tech College, MRNC was there to assist me once again. Because of this program’s assistance, I was able to complete two semesters successfully receiving a B letter grade in both ANP 101 and 102. I’m very proud to say, I was placed on the Ivy techs’ honor roll.
Presently, August of 2021, I have been accepted into Ohio Career Medical Colleges’ PN Program. Today, I’m very appreciative to MRNC for assisting me in starting my journey of becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse. Thank you for all you do. My prayer is that you continue to be a blessing to our community.
Thank you,
Terra Barnett
