Career & Computer Training for Serious Job Seekers!

Spots are available for Career & Computer Training Classess starting June 14.

Classes are held for ten weeks, Monday through Thursday from either 1-4:30 pm or from 5:30 to 9:00 p.m.

Mary Rigg Neighborhood Center's Computer & Career Training course teaches basic computer skills that will help you find a new job or make more money at the one you already have. You will also benefit from financial and career coaching.

Topics covered include:

Basic computer literacy--keyboarding, Microsoft Word & Excel, internet, and e-mailing
Networking tips to help you talk confidently about your skills
Resumes and cover letters
Interview practice and clothing opportunities
Personal employment coaching and financial coaching
Incentives to keep your motivation going for as long as it takes to get that job offer!

Participants must commit to the full ten weeks. Assistance with transportation and child/adult care may be available.

*Please note: Minimum requirement for class is HS Diploma or near completion of GED. GED classes are offered at Mary Rigg Neighborhood Center and at Goodwin Community Center.
