Mary Rigg Neighborhood Center supports senior citizens 55 years and older through many specialized programs and activities. 


Mary Rigg Center provides:

  • Information and referrals
  • Advocacy and counseling
  • Daily senior lunch (weekdays only)
  • Energy Assistance Program (EAP) 
  • Forms assistance
  • Senior exercise
  • Educational sessions
  • Social gatherings
  • Mind stimulating games and activities
  • Field trips

  • The goal of this program is to improve social involvement and provide services to enhance the health and well being of elderly persons in the Mary Rigg community.  The Mary Rigg Neighborhood Center provides services for seniors, in their neighborhood, so they can remain vital and active and be able to stay independent longer.


    Daily Lunches

    Each weekday, senior citizens come to Mary Rigg Neighborhood Center for low-cost hot lunches. These nutritious midday meals begin at 11:45 a.m., and are provided through a contract with the Central Indiana Counsel on Aging.
