Holiday Toy Sort & Set-up -- You can't distribute books, toys, stocking stuffers, and food totes to hundreds of families without a lot of help from volunteers!

    • Saturday, December 7th, 9 am - 1 pm
    • We'll be sorting toys & books into age categories, taking inventory of the food totes, and getting things ready for the Monday distribution
    • Need approximately 75-85 volunteers (up to 1/3 can be children, see next line)
    • Family friendly -- kids 5+ welcome!
    • Need at least half of the volunteers to be able to lift food totes (about 30-35lbs)

Holiday Distribution -- Once everything is sorted and set out, volunteers are needed to help families "shop" for their items. A variety of roles/tasks are available -- Hospitality, Check-In, Shopping Assistant, Food Tote Distributor, etc.

    • Monday, December 9th
    • Three shifts available -- 9:30am - 12:15pm, 12:30pm - 3:15pm, 5:30pm - 7:15pm
    • So many ways to help -- shopping assistant, hospitality, check-in & registration, distributing food totes, and much more!

Senior Stocking Delivery -- Deliver Senior Stockings to our neighbors next door.Hospitality, Check-In, Shopping Assistant, Food Tote Distributor, etc.

    • Tuesday, December 10th
    • Approximately 2 - 2 1/2 hours
    • Small group of 3 - 5 adults

Food Tote School Delivery -- This is great exercise! Utilizing the Mary Rigg van and a truck/SUV from a volunteer, load up approximately 20-30 holiday food totes and deliver to partner schools through west Indy (all within 3 miles of Mary Rigg). Each school will then distribute to families in need.

    • Thursday, December 12th
    • Times to be determined
