YES, you can. We can help.

 

A young person who goes to work early in life is more likely to be successful later. The YES (Youth Employment Services) program helps 16- to 25-year-olds who've encountered difficult obstacles and are no longer in school find employment opportunities.

 

Eligible participants include those who face any of the following social barriers:

  • Literacy challenges
  • Homelessness
  • No high school diploma
  • Runaways
  • Foster children
  • Early pregnancy/parenthood
  • Former offender
  • Developmentally disabled

 

YES provides the following tools and services:

  • School tuition
  • Child care
  • Clothing needs for work or job interviews
  • Tools for new mechanics or carpenters
  • Help with parking tickets
  • Rent help
  • Car repair
  • Legal bill
  • Food
  • Overdue utility bills
  • Gas
  • Bus passes
