Learning doesn't stop when summer starts. Summer Day Camp gives kids the chance to learn more about the world and themselves. It provides opportunities and activities that will build their character, challenge their minds, and leave them with valuable skills that will last a lifetime.

MRNC's summer day camp programs provide a nurturing, safe environment where kids will learn, grow, and make new friends – all while having lots of fun.

Summer day camp is offered at several locations throughout the city. Activities include:

  • Reading
  • Recreational activities
  • Swimming
  • Art and Crafts
  • Special Projects
  • Guest Speakers

Summer day camp is open to kids ages 4-13.  Hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with before and after care available from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. Camp starts in June and lasts 10 weeks, through August.

NOTE: Just for pre-teens, ages 11-13, Mary Rigg Neighborhood Center offers the LEADERS program, a program focused on college and career exploration. Click here to learn more.
