Where LEADERS are born

 

The pre-teen years are the most vital of a child's life. During this time, kids make choices that will have long-term effects on their future. They choose their friends. They develop attitudes toward school and recreational activities. They even start thinking about what they stand for, as well as what they will stand against.

 

LEADERS gives kids aged 11-13 an opportunity to learn valuable life lessons from the most effective teacher of all: experience. It sends them on a journey that takes them throughout Central Indiana, where they visit colleges, shadow real-life professionals, and get involved in service projects of their own choosing. Eligible LEADERS will even get the chance to complete a 21st Century Scholarship application.

 

LEADERS do far more than learn. They get a priceless experience that will shape their lives for years to come.
