Every Child Deserves a Head Start

 

Head Start prepares kids for the challenges they'll face in kindergarten. It literally gives kids a head start, so they'll be fully ready to succeed in school. The services provided by Head Start include the following:

 
  • Education
  • Health
  • Nutrition
  • Parent involvement services

 

Head Start has two southwest Indianapolis locations:

 

1130 S. Kappes Street (Next to the Mary Rigg Neighborhood Center)

3935 Mooresville Road (Goodwin Community Center)

 

Head Start is a federally-funded program offered free of charge to eligible children and their families.
